Angel Cases retired with 41 years of government service, 36 with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and five in the US Military.  Angel has a Master’s of Science degree in Business, a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management, and two years’ work in Electrical Engineering while an undergraduate at Columbia University.  Throughout his career at the FAA, as an Air Traffic controller, Angel has worked in Farmingdale, New York Airport Control Tower, the New York Area Control Center, and several Flight Services (AIS) Stations. 

During his many career appointments, Angel became the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Lasers and High Energy Technologies and their effect on civil aviation, Obstructions and Airport Airspace Analysis, and NEXTGEN Technologies.  He also became the lead analyst for international letters of agreement between government agencies, military institutions, and private corporations.  While stationed in Washington, DC, Angel implemented the very first Quality Assurance (QA) Evaluation department overseeing the Flight Service (AIS) Stations privatization contract by designing the performance software, approving the hardware, and training and certifying the first Quality Assurance Evaluators, and became the department’s first deputy manager.  Due to his international and airspace knowledge, one of his many accomplishments was to work directly with NASA on the final five space shuttle missions as the NASA In-country International Representative in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.  For more information download Angel Cases’ CV…

Dr. Maureen J. McCombs is the CEO of MJ Technical Solutions, LLC. As CEO, Maureen is the final authority on all matters affecting the company direction and is the director of the MJTS steering committee. Maureen graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. She also went on to graduate with a degree jointly from the University of Texas at Arlington and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas with a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. She is a peer-reviewed published author and has presented research at both national and international conferences in the field of Biomedical Engineering. Maureen worked in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for several years supporting their Navigation and Communication Divisions. Maureen has served as the CEO of MJ Technical Solutions, LLC, since its inception in 2005. She is the lead in contract negotiations and resource management at MJTS.

Jon McCombs has served as the Chief Technical Officer of MJ Technical Solutions for the past 10+ years. These positions / roles have allowed me to work extensively with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National Weather Service (NWS), Military, International Aviation Community (ICAO) and the private arena. I am an Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Telecommunications, Communications and IT network design, security, costing, engineering, implementation, planning, analyzing, evaluating, Quality Control, identifying risks and solutions including Analog, Digital and Optical signals, RF and Free Space Optical radios, Microwave, Satellite as well as extensive knowledge of all major systems currently in use by the FAA. My 30+ years of extensive experience with 20 years as a FAA employee as Second Level Technical Support allow me to serve as an SME in all infrastructure fields able to identify, design, install, and manage NAS and non-NAS services from end to end in all systems and environments down to the protocol stack level.
